So, it's been a few weeks...
My Motion boys won their first tournament on Saturday, beating the Pocono Stars in two straight games. It was a pretty difficult contest, and we were down five at the break. But we ended up winning by 12, and took home the medals. I was extremely proud of the guys for winning this. They worked very, very hard, and deserve the victory.
In poker news...I've won several tournaments in the past couple of weeks. In multi-table tournaments, I have the following finishes:
3rd (out of 960)
5th (out of 500...Tom Ford finished sixth)
8th (out of 300)
10th (out of 950)
11th (out of 989)
13th (out of 950)
15th (out of 600)
I also have two 21st-place finishes, a 23rd, a 25th, and a 29th, and several other top-50 finishes. I've carved out a little niche there...but more work lies ahead.
Speaking of work, I still have none. But I'm trying.
