My Motion boys had a tournament this weekend. It was our first one of the year, and I have to say, I was happy with the results, despite a 1-2 finish.

We played some very, very good teams, starting with the Gettysburg Chillies. They were very aggressive on defense, and we were just flat in a 12-point loss.

After that, we played 4Sports, out of Washington D.C. They were extremely talented, but we shot well and took care of business, winning by around 10.

Today, we played the Jackson Tarheels, a national contender. They were very big, and is the second-best team we've seen yet (The RAIDERS, last year's national champs, played us last year). We got down early, but pulled back into it behind Tristen Rosado's 21 first-half points. Unfortunately, we got cold in the second half, and lost 67-56. I was very pleased with the effort though.

Things we did well:

- Found teammates
- Got steals
- Ran well in transition

Things we did not do well:

- Free-throwing shooting
- Passes (turnovers)
- Help defense

We'll work on those for our next tournament. I think we have the makings of a very, very good team here.
